Serviced Offices in the City of London

The City of London is famous for being one of the world’s leading financial centres. It houses the Bank of England, the London Stock Exchange and Lloyd’s of London, and is the favoured location for the UK headquarters of many national, multinational and international companies.

The western area of the City is also a hub for the legal profession, with many law firms based in the streets around Chancery Lane, Temple and Lincoln’s Inn.

As you’d expect, there are also many small businesses thriving in the City and a huge range of serviced offices in the City of London to choose from, whether you’re looking for something traditional and classic or modern and upbeat.

The City is easy to get to by public transport, with national railway stations located in the north-east and south of the area – Liverpool Street, Moorgate, Fenchurch Street, Cannon Street and Blackfriars. It’s easily reachable via a number of tube lines – Central, District, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Northern – and there are many bus routes offering frequent services.

The City comes to life in the daytime

During the day, the City thrives. It’s full of cafés, bars and restaurants that are great places for client meetings and lunchtime office crowds. One popular area that attracts people to meet is the historic and atmospheric Leadenhall Market, but you’ll never have to go far to find pubs, cafés, delis and restaurants to suit all budgets and expense accounts.

In the early evening, the bars are full of workers enjoying a drink before they catch their train home. Later on, the City empties and often has something of a ghost town feel to it. However, for those based in the Liverpool Street area, it’s just a short walk to Spitalfields and Brick Lane, which are always busy well into the early hours. If your office is on the south side of the City and you are looking for somewhere lively to spend the evening, you may want to cross the river to the South Bank.
