The historic village of Burnham is located in South Bucks in South East England and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, where it was referred to as Burneham. Holding a Royal Charter, Burnham can host an annual fair and weekly market in 1271, taking traffic away from the village this was then diverted to Maidenhead when the opening of a bridge crossing the Thames.
